Yoho Brewing, a Japanese brewery, has created a new beer glass that intentionally slows down the drinking experience. The glass is 350ml (almost 12 ounces) and shaped like an hourglass. The purpose of the Yona Yona Ale glass is to slow drinkers down, so that it takes almost three times as long to enjoy a glass of beer. The brewer believes that this allows a drinker to better appreciate the flavors and nuances of the beer.
