It’s a narrow lead, but according to the YouGov poll, among people who drink wine at least a few times a week, 22% say they love Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by sparkling wine (21%), white wine in general (20%), and Pinot Noir (20%). The type of wine named least favorite was Syrah which only 10% of American wine drinkers say they love. But there’s a good reason for that: 43% say they have never had it.
