The cities are (in order from most expensive): New York City, Columbus (Ohio), San Francisco, Oakland, and Philadelphia. The report was based on data that analyzed 190 cities. New York City, where the average bottle of wine costs $20, is more than five times more financially demanding than the city with the cheapest wine—average $3.55 a bottle—Cordoba, Spain. And Columbus, Ohio? No idea why it came in second.
