What is wine designed to do?

What is wine designed to do? That is, I think, a legitimate question. Of course, it’s designed to give pleasure. And if it’s a great wine, it’s designed to be a mind-trip. But I think there’s something more. Here’s my video about that.

A. The day that Champagne bottles are disgorged after secondary fermentation

B. A particular breed of sheep that graze on cover crops in Rhône vineyards

C. An above ground cellar where wine is stored and aged in Bordeaux

D. The level of barrel toast preferred for aging Burgundy wine
