OK Boomers. I hope you got this. Most of these events actually occurred in 1973. But California’s Sutter Home introduced White Zinfandel in 1972. In that year, Sutter Home accidentally “discovered” the off-dry style of white Zin thanks to a stuck fermentation. Beringer and Woodbridge introduced their white Zins soon after.
