OMG are we impressed! This wine is a total shocker.[memberonly label=”members”] We put it into a blind tasting of Super Sauvignons from Napa Valley and it came out first in a line-up of wines that cost 2,3, even 4 times as much. One taster thought it was a top flight white Bordeaux. There are long swaths of beauty here, with notes of candlewax, chamomile, starfruit, minerals, lime zest, and something green and peppery like fresh arugula. The wine is layered, lifted, botanical, and rich, with lots of complexity and length. The Gamble family came to Napa Valley as farmers and ranchers in 1916; they’ve been growing Sauvignon Blanc in the heart of the Napa Valley for 25 years. With this 2022, their incredible track record shows.
